I am afraid that the caravan has now gone to the great caravan park in the sky

Hello, I am very much a new comer to your group and hope you will indulge my unfamiliarity with the way it works. I have a dilapidated Safari. It would be free to a good home. It is all original, even down to gas mantles and at worst would be a source of spare parts. It has stood for twenty odd years and so would need shifting on a low-loader. There are some pictures on Facebook that were taken a couple of years ago and put on the club site by Mark Oz Mullarkey. Hope this is of interest. Stephen Sanders

Stephen - Whereabouts is the Safari? Is it number 63401 that Mark posted pictures of way back in 2012. I thought Mark was restoring that one.
There are a couple of major restorations of early Safaris that are stalled at the moment for the want of certain spare parts.

Hello Brian. Yes unfortunately Mark couldn't take it on and it has been gathering dust/moss ever since. I am in Lichfield about sixteen miles north of Birmingham. I hope that helps. Stephen

I also have a restoration project Safari ...between Stroud and Gloucester. Good external conditioning chrome still gleaming. but a leak somewhere so wood has rotted inside. Fridge, cooker etc all still working. Whole project or for parts?
