Hello and welcome. I saw this bad boy and was tempted myself as it didn’t look too bad. The wife however, wasn’t so keen – she says I’ve got to finish the house first What’s the interior like – is it still original and dry? You’ve got yourself a nice 1966 split screen. It will be very desirable when finished. I’m sure Brian won’t mind but have a look at his photo album on the link below. I’m sure you will be able to find some reference to help your cause. community.webshots.com/user/eastwoodman

hi , thank you for the link that is really helpfull , as for the interior it would appear to have all its hard furnishings / fridge etc, but the soft furnishings have long gone and been recovered and to be honest its pretty trashed inside the guy i bought it off had owned it since the 1970's and used it behind his truck carrying his vintage tractor and said he had replaced some of the inner framework but i suspect that when i get it torn down most of it will need renewing . i dont think its going to be an easy restoration , but i love the style of the van and think it will look good behind my 57 cadillac eldorado . i will take some pics of the interior today and put them up .

Looking forward to following the rebuild of this one, let's have lots of photo's as it goes along, did you have to travel far to get it?
