This Safari is currently on Ebay and as it in my home town I went along for a good look round it. cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290525142293&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:ITIt is really quite good. It was bought new by the Grandfather of the vendor who used it for one holiday only and didn’t like caravanning! Was put in one of their warehouses for 20+ years, and then used by the sons for a couple of years while working away. Went back into the warehouse and wasn’t moved until the other week. The outside is in very good condition, two little parking scrapes on the offside. Roof is good with only a little oxidisation of the aluminium, but the joins are all good. All the aluminium window frames need a AutoSol rub down and the whole thing needs a good clean and polish. Inside – no fridge/water pump and as in the advert one bed base has some holes in the cover. Needs new tyres due to age not wear. I was told the lights and brakes are working. All the usual soft areas are very solid, but the edges of the wall paper almost all over the roof have begun to peel but they are not damp. I think wall paper paste would work to put them all back onto place. In all it is a good one, and probably worth £6-800 in the current market. The Grandad wants the auction to run but will accept £500 if there are no higher bids. if anyone wants any specific information either post here or send me a message
