Hello
I am looking for a spare wheel for my 1974/5 Safari 17/4.
I was wondering if any of the club members had one for sale or alternatively where I might try to locate one. I assume that they were originally a donor vehicle part?
Thanks a lot.

I have some spare wheels from Safaris. Can you confirm the size and number of bolts on yours.
Some of the wheels are stamped B&B (who made the chassis) and so may not have a car equivalent.

Thanks for getting back.
It's a B&B stamped wheel and the size is 4 and a half J 15 with 5 bolts.

According to the handbook the wheels on your 17/4 should be 5.5k x 14" and the tyres should be 185x14.
I took a spare wheel from the 17ft I broke several years ago, but it is a 4 stud 14", so it may not even belong to the Safari.
Sorry I can't help this time.

Thanks for checking that. Bit of a mystery really as my handbook gives the sizes as I sent to you The tyres are: 185R 15"
Any other ideas for tracking one down would be very much appreciated!
Thanks.
