Im George and my family (Marcia the wife plus my boys Tyler 6 and Oran 2) have just bought a 1979 Safari 14/4 from eBay. We are going to turn it into a garden playroom (interior for sale as most of it is coming out) I'll post pics of the project as we go along.

Hi George and family - Welcome to the group.

I have to tell you that your Safari is not a 1979. My guess is that it is a 69-72 model. The round top door was replaced in that year.

I think I can see the id sticker by the door, if you can read the serial number the first two digits will confirm the age of your Safari.

Are you sure you want to sell the interior? Your boys may want to put the Safari back on the road when they grow up and won't thank you as they have to track down a period interior!
