This group was started in 2003, with the aim of encouraging the preservation and enjoyment of all Safari Caravans made before 1978 and of the classic shape with the drop front side window made until 1982. We try to assist owners in preservation, restoration, sales and purchase of these excellent Caravans. Membership is open to anyone who owns, has owned, or would like to own a Safari caravan, or is a supplier of products or services directly related to these Caravans. Hello everybody, I am Elfyn Hughes from Anglesey in North Wales. I was a member of the MSN site and have now found the new forum. I bought my 1980 12/2 from Bear and Donna a while back and have done some decent trips since I have had it - including two to West Lothian and one to Portsmouth. I am going to start some repair and restoration soon due to the dreaded damp so I will be plaguing the technical site for a while and bombarding the gurus with questions and pleas for help. The idea of a 2010 rally sounds great, I will try to make it.
