Hi, love vintage caravans and have just acquired a lovely 14' molicroft which I'm currently assuming is a safari, would appreciate any feedback on age and model so will post some photos shortly. Doesn't have any info plates on it but does have a very faded shield badge on the front, above 3 windows, large middle one opens, fantastic layout inside, a breakfast bar that folds out to a double bed, slidey mirror doors on the high up strip cupboards, fly screens over windows. Doesn't have the distinctive safari curvey flashing down the side thogh and the molicroft is in a single strip rather than bulging out over the door. also it has two doors. Reckon it's late 50s, can't find any comparable pics on the net so far.

Hi Kim and welcome to the group. The nearest Safari to your description is one of these known as a Safari 4 from 1958 ish. If it is one of these is is very rare - I know of only two others.

Thanks for the picture, our caravan looks very similar but not quite the same, and it looks as if it would have originally been a green colour. will attempt to post some pics soon.
