I am looking for a large Safari. preferably a 17/4 but would consider 15/4 or similar.
Would prefer good usable caravan, I can cope with a small amount of work. I am prepared to travel so distance is no object.
Price must be reasonable.

Could anyone tell me what a fair price would be for a 76 15-4 in good working order if in need of a little tlc?

Welcome to the Group, Shepton.
Valuing Safaris is virtually impossible.
In the last twelve months there have only been two 15-4's on ebay, and neither reached £200. But I don't know if either of them changed hands at that price.
If I add that there have only been about 6 Safaris of all sizes that have exceeded £1000, any Safari including your 15-4 lies somewhere in that range.
It does seem that a Safari needing work rarely exceeds £2-300, and that figure is only reached if there is not too much damp in the structure. Any damp problems drop the value to £0-100.
In my opinion the 15-4 should be a popular choice for a family. Large enough to comfortably accomodate four people but towable by a 2 litre car. (The 17-4 really requires a 4x4 or large saloon)
If you post some pics in the for sale section, who knows, it may take someone's fancy.
