Looking good Norman
We have had a lot of theory about repainting our caravans but as you seem to have done it to a very good standrard, can you let us know what type of paint you used and how you applied it.

I hope your able to reply with some advice...
What materials did you use? What process? What Filler? What Paint and how did you apply it?
I hope to hear back from you, numerous members have painted there caravans and yours is one of the best I have seen. Chris.

Hi Chris sorry for the delay in reply if you would like to call me i can explain better on the phone 01754811121
I was told how to repaint it by a very elderly man in Skegness who for many years painted caravans by hand, so to start I sanded down more especially the roof because it was the worst. The paint i used was Crown white metal primer, Crown undercoat then 4 coats of Selemix brush enamel colour code NP10 this can be obtained from good paint suppliers but be warned this enamel is just like water very thin. On the old chaps advice with a 6" gloss foam roller you apply about a sq. metre and then with a top quality paint brush you lightly scim across the surface and within 1hour it has dried to a smooth finish. To change the side strip colour i took a sample of our car colour "copperleaf red" to the paint supplier who matched the colour using a computor
Kind regards Norman

Hello Norman, thank you very much for your reply I plan on doing this in February before we go away in march for the first time in 2013. If you don't mind I will give you a phone call in the next week to seek more advise. I dont plan on repainting the stripe as i have decals there also worried about the 14.2 to the right of the door. might have to get a replica done. Chris.
