HI I have bee a very dormant member for quite some time.. Attached are some photos of "Carole" a 1981 12x2 Safari which we have had since 1999... Seems someone in the past has done a lot of internal modifications which are very effective. We are trying hard to keep the caravan in good shape. My wife and I use the Safari quite a lot each year and regularly go over to France mainly to Ile De Re (near La Rochelle).. We are planning a major trip next year taking in Italy, so hope to get the Safari well serviced before then.. We are based in Surrey so happy to meet up with any like minded owners via the Forum. All the very best Regards Martin & Adele.

Martin - It has been so long that I thought you must have sold your Safari. Pleased to see that you are still using it. You may be the answer to a mystery. Do you ever stay over at any campsites near Calais en route to Ile de Re? I have had two reports of a Safari staying in that area but never been able to find out who it was.

Hi Brian, yep its my fault I have been "silent"... now I have retired have more time on the social side of things... Looking forward to getting a bit more involved with the forum...
Unfortunately its not us near Calais... We tend to get an early crossing then stop for the night near Le Mans which gives us a relatively easy drive the next day. On the way back we stay near Paris at Maisons-Laffitte....
All the very best and thanks for all you are doing to keep Safaris running..
