Hi, We have just bought an 81 Safari 14/2 on eBay. We are complete novices but are hoping to do it up as best we can. As far as we can tell so far it is going to be largely cosmetic, but we have already gleaned some very useful advice from existing posts. Along the way we are sure to need advice and direction so I think you will be seeing us here often! Steve and Sara

Hi Steve and Sara and welcome to the group.
If the ebay description of your Safari is accurate, I would suggest you have got a bit of a bargain. Yours is another one not previously on the register so I can't give you any previous history.
Don't hesitate to ask questions, you will find we are a friendly bunch and someone will be along to give an answer fairly quickly.

Hi Brian! Thank you for the welcome! Yes, we certainly think she's a bargain! No signs or smells of damp anywhere! The prices do seem to vary wildly for Safari's don't they?? The only things that seem to need replacements, at some point soon are the stretchy rubber window closers and a couple of the window arms, are they available to purchase anywhere?
So excited, we're going away for our first trip in her in two weeks time!!
Sara and Steve.
