THE ONLY FORUM FOR ENTHUSIASTS OF CLASSIC SAFARI CARAVANS MADE BETWEEN 1948 AND 1982.
This group was started in 2003, with the aim of encouraging the preservation and enjoyment of all Safari Caravans made before 1978 and of the classic shape with the drop front side window made until 1982.
We try to assist owners in preservation, restoration, sales and purchase of these excellent Caravans. Membership is open to anyone who owns, has owned, or would like to own a Safari caravan, or is a supplier of products or services directly related to these Caravans.
The world's largest collection of photographs of Safari Caravans is now on the Facebook group.
I am selling my Safari 14-2 as I can't carry on having two caravans and I have my 17-2.
She is a 1982, the last year safari made the drop down windows and the last recorded on the master serial list. She is in lovely condition with no damp at all and everything works! We have taken her to France and Belgium and she tows lovely!! There's a cassette toilet and a shower in the bathroom with a drop down sink, water heater, fridge freezer, carver heater and all the usual extras. She has recently had a little bit of work done to her, having the floor injected and wood laminate flooring throughout. Built in stereo with surround sound. Also comes with a Dorema Flamenco Awning which is worth £300 on its own. The only bad thing with my beautiful van is the fact there is a little bit of duct tape above the door which I have never got round to taking off (I might get round to it next week)
See the photographs, you will not see a safari quite the same!!!
More will be added soon!!!
I'm looking for £2,200. Chris on 07904976654 based in west midlands
Dreadfully dissapointed with some people out there, After wasting 4 hours of my time showing 2 people around the 14.2 there reason for not buying it was because the caravan was not 100% empty, there was slight damage to the awning rail and the caravan was not washed! how ridiculous and petty!!!!
