In my opinion the side panels or stripe in baby blue would be fine, but it is your Safari to do what you like with. I know - it would look good dark green all over with red and white chequered stripes down the sides, but that has already been done!!

I have now chosen the color for the roof and stripe I phoned and ordered it from the panel factors this morning and they delivered this afternoon I spent the afternoon flatting and painting these few bits that I almost forgot about also got the roof cleaned down of all the dust that's gathered on there since November when I primed it so now its ready to be painted first thing in the morning This is done with foam rollers I think the results are great

Looks good but I am surprised that you are painting the roof a different colour to the body,,, I haven't seen this before on a safari. Where did you purchase your rear lights from?

I had to go away on sunday and only got back yesterday so today I spent some time putting the front back together This is the big front window I first had to go round with the thinners and a rag to get the last dregs of green paint off the edges then cleaned the old dried sealant off the inside of the frame to give a clean flat surface to seal to Then went round with a generous even bead of seamseal I also cleaned up and stapled back in the rubber trim strip that goes round the window on the inside but forgot to get a photo of that Then the window is gently persuaded in to place and screwed in the sealant will bulge out slightly or more than slightly if you put too much on but you can easily scrape off the excess and clean up with white spirit I put the visor back on the gutter rail badge handles side rails etc

Hi as a ex Safari worker i wish you had taken that all full smoke stack off the roof and reinstated the old van to its original state as you spent so much time on it a few more hours or days would be worth it if you want the money you say the gutter mouldings were painted when the all the van was painted also front canopy were painted first then put on good luck hope to see more photos

I do agree with Michael, with a new interior you may get the price your looking for and more, also having restored quite a few classic cars - it has to be a labour of love - I know if I calculated the hours worked on mine I won't get my money back!
She looks lovely!!!
