We have long been hunting for a solution to the problem of original awning lights.
When I was is Holland my dutch Safari owning friend noticed I had an original outside light. He has an engineering company and made very accurate drawings of the surround which he proposes to turn in aluminium, get them power coated in white, threaded to take the screws, and cut some semi opaque plastic for the lens. All you will need is a bulb holder. I should know the costs soon. Any one who is interested, let me know so I can give him an idea of quantities.
