Has anybody got any experience in recovering the walls? The original coverings on the 1970s vans was a pseudoleather/vinyl paper that came in huge roll so there were no joins. Does anybody know if this is still available. I don't want to use standard vinyl wallpaper because the rolls are too narrow and the joins would show. Same applies for the ceiling.
Advice appreciated

When I was working with a caravan repairer there was i company in Hull that supplied interior wall covering and when required applied it to plywood or hardboard.
The manager was very helpful to anyone doing repairs. I took a sample of what I needed and he sorted out a match and made me six sheets on plywood. I seem to remember him charging me £20 for the lot.
Ill ask arround and see if antone knows where the company is.

iv just had to recover some bits inside me 1982 12/2 due to the prev owners son sleeping in the van during house extension being built and peeling paper off/cutting it with a craft knife !!! the walls were a square/check affect and the roof/roof sides round windows were a plain ! i sorced replacement paper from inside the drawers !! 2 were lined with square and 2 with plain paper, a quick run round the inside of the drawer with a stanley blade and it pealed right out in 1 sheet, i also had to sorce more plain paper from the ceiling inside the roof cupboards and squared from behind the unit in front window !! atleast now it looks mint again inside !
