Hello!
We've just bought a 17/4 Safari (1979/80 from what I can deduce from the posts I've been poring over for the last week or so!) We got him on Ebay (but he was also advertised for sale on this site, Hi Colinalfa!)
We haven't taken delivery of him yet but I'm totally smitten and VERY excited. He's got lots of damp mouldy bits but I'm totally convinced we can fix him up (please please leave me in my deluded state, I know damp is a nightmare but I like being blindly optimistic ;D)
I actually have some questions for the technical section so I'll mooch off there now.
Hopefully I'll bee a useful forum member, but brace yourselves for a relentless onslaught of blindingly dim questions while we fix up our boy!
