Hi Brian, Both my side and rear window's plastic trims are badly cracked and unsightly. (Side and bottom trim, top OK) Is it possible to purchase new trims. How easy is it to removed and re-fix the window stays which will need removing? Has anyone carried out this work, if so their comments would be appreciated. Regards Bryan Digby

It's easy, provided there's no underlying rotten wood. It's quite usual to have to replace these trims. It seems to have a life of 5-10 years. Up here in Manchester I just buy it by the roll from EmmBee Caravans in Heywood; maybe your local caravan dealer will stock it; if not it's easy to find on the interweb. Take a sample of undamaged trim with you as there are at least two 'standard' measurements.

Welcome to the forum Bryan.
I assume you mean the white plastic trim inside the windows. I have a roll of this in my stocks. I need to check the width and will do so tomorrow. Price £1.00 per metre plus £8.00 postage.
It is very easy to fit. You unscrew the catches and stays and the old trim lifts off easily. The new trim is slotted over the inner and outer walls, and is easy to bend around the bottom corners. I put some glue on mine to keep it in place and then replaced the catches and stays.

Hi Brian, I am now back from my travels and would be pleased to receive trim at your convenience if post strike permits. Do you stock the black calor gas hose. I need about four foot as mine has perished. Best wishes Bryan

I'll post in in the next two days.
Sorry I don't keep the gas hose, but any caravanning shop should have some.

Bryan
How much trim do you now need?
Or are you saying you never received the previous parcel? I was a bit surprised at the time that you didn't confirm receipt.
If this is the case, please send your address by private message and I'll get another one off to you.
