Hi Brian,
Our Safari 12/2 has serial number 81006. It currently serves us very well as our holiday home when we need to get away from the boss in sunny France.

Hi Brian, in regards to the Safari listed, I have located another late model 14/2. It belongs to a friend who lives local and for all intents its a very nice van which has of late been the subject of a considerable amount of TLC. The serial number is; 82182 which makes it a 14/2 1982. I did note that you do not have this van recorded. regards Bobbie Towers if you require a photo of the van I will need to ask the owner first.

Hello Brian, nice to meet you at last, I still cant get to the other Safari 15.4 on the farm but our other 15.4 is now ready for outings the serial # is 79275. I know beyond any shadow of doubt that you would not have this lady on your register. The history is that 1 owner from new. A fairground family who also used to have a haulage Business in the Midlands (Wheatley) Original inside, even the paint outside is "as was" photo to follow on soon regards Bobbie and Senta

Rasta Your Safari was on ebay on September 2010. The seller was norbs37 from Bedford the top price on the auction was £190, but I have no way of knowing if it actually sold. The Ebay pictures are on the Picasa ALbum 1963-7 linkI am a bit puzzled by the 15-5, this is either a typo or perhaps it was advertised as a five berth in the ebay listing and I just copied it. Certainly Safari have never made a 15-5. Regards Brian

Hi Brian,
I have recently rescued a Safari, just like the curves on it but have got myself a whole lot of work to do.
Serial # 71322
Location: Wicklow, Ireland.
Needs, just to straighten it up. Full strip out and rebuild. New Chassis New Tow Hitch New Axle.
Oh the fun!

Djd - Thanks for the info. Your Safari was spotted by a Facebook Group member back in 2014 and so is also on the register. If you go in Facebook to the group and search for "Collins" there is a thread about your Safari as it was then. You do not have to join fb or the group.
Regards Brian

Hi Brian, I sadly will need to sell my safari 12/2 due to a forthcoming move from Inverness in scotland to Plymouth in Devon. We have had many wonderful adventures across the scottish highlands and out along the Moray coastline.
The badge on the front reads Safari Caravans Ltd, Cosalt. Her serial no is : 79266.
I intend to post photos shortly
Kind regards Gareth
