Definitely selling our Van as per my original message below. We now have 3 children and just cant use it anymore, it being a 2-berth!! Photos to follow. Would like £1500 based on the great condition and work we have undertaken. Hello I am considering selling our lovely 14.2 1979 Safari due to us outgrowing the space now that our children are getting bigger. It is in excellent condition. It had a rebuild of the roof in the 1990s (previous owner but we have the original photos of the rebuild) which has ensured it's longevity and water-tight exterior. It has been serviced by the same company during its lifetime (previous owner and us). Has many original features including Safari glasses, interior cabinetry, wall coverings and perfect condition owners manual etc. Having searched the internet, I can't find any others for sale and therefore wondered if anyone could provide an estimate on what it would be worth please? We have spent around £850 on it since we bought it, which went towards a full service and new upholstery and curtains (as the previous ones weren't the originals anyway). We have found it easy to tow and manoeuvre. The jockey wheel was a bit temperamental so we had a new one fitted. there's plenty of life left in our lovely van yet! Thanks in anticipation, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
