Hi! We've just bought a safari 11-2. She's leaking a bit and has quite a bit of rotten framework. Some of the inside has been stripped out but luckily we have most of it to put back. Started rebuilding the frame and carefully removing the trim so we can re seal it. Looking forward to learning from you all!

Welcome to the group Campernell. I would ask if you are on Facebook. The group on there (Classic Safari Caravans) is far more active than this forum, and you can access the group photo albums. Over 6000 pictures which show a lot of Safaris being restored so you can get an idea of what lies underneath! It is an open group so you do not have to join to access it. If your Safari was bought from Beth Pearson in Seaton Devon, and is serial number 73023, it has already been featured on the group! If that is not your Safari I would appreciate the serial number of yours for the Safari register. If you wish to continue posting on here, I monitor the forum regularly and will try to help you with any queries you might have.

Hi Brian. Nice to be here! Yes we've joined the Facebook group and will be studying the photos to get some info how to fix things. Yes that's our Safari from Seaton , Devon and that's the correct serial number. Thanks
