A very reluctant sale of my Safari. (DEPOSIT RECEIVED FOR THE SAFARI SO SALE POSTPONED FOR THE TIME BEING. THANK YOU FOR THE INTEREST).
I have many photos that I can e mail to any interested person. 1978. 15.4 Serial number 79274. Unladen 960 kg. Laden 1200 kg.
This lovely caravan has been with us for approx 12 years. I believe that I am it's 4th owner. It has been kept in our barn under cover since it was purchased from friends of ours who looked after it very well. We have looked after it and apart from barn dust on the outside it is very very clean.
No pets have been in it and we are non smokers.
There is some restoration/repair work to be done above the front window and above the radio beside the wardrobe. The van does not have a mouldy smell to it and we have not concealed any part of the van to hide more work that we don't know about.
The roof has mastic along parts (from a previous owner). I am unaware of leaks.
The Safari has not been out of the barn for the last 4 years as we no longer needed it and to be honest it has been kept out of sentiment but,it's time for someone else to enjoy it.
When taken on camp sites in the past or,to rallies it got lots of attention and many people asked to look at it. It has comfortably slept 2 adults and 3 children despite being 4 berth. The upholstery is very firm and all in excellent condition. The glasses in the drinks cabinet are engraved Safari'.
Location. West Malling,Kent. ME19. J4 M20.
