For light scratches on perspex, Brasso is great. Replacing the perspex is not too expensive, just don't tell the supplier it is for an old caravan! I had to replace a couple of windows on a 67 Safari and took the perspex out of the frames and took them to a manufacturer of acrylic advertising signs. They had to get the correct thickness in but they cut to the exact shape in 2 days and charged me £40 for the two.
