I'm afraid that the time has come to part with my beloved 12/2. The dreaded damp has penetrated too far and I don't have the skill or the facilities to restore her. She is a 1979/80 12/2, serial no 80059. Briefly, there is damp pentration around the right side of the front window and along the lantern roof on the same side. There is a dent in the front, near side that was there when I bought her in 2007. Cooker is working and the Fridge is working in all three modes, although both could do with tidying. ZIG works perfectly. Water heater is very intermittent, currently sulking, and probably needs a new electronic unit. Heater finally gave up the ghost during the weekend I was away for the Classic car show at NEC (15 - 17 November) A SurFlo water pump has been fitted at some point before I got her and works well. A Thetford cassette toilet is fitted and works. Interior is original and in reasonable condition with slight discolouration on the seats and backs and some fading of the curtains. Although I have recently been away for a long weekend in the van, I am selling her as a restoration project or for spares and NOT as a useable van. She will tow. I am asking £300 and hope that someone with the required skill can restore her to the condition she deserves to be in. Elfyn,
Sorry to hear that news. I remember meeting you a few years ago at (I think) Cae Mawr site, in my 17-2.
Good luck with finding the right taker.
Oliver

Dear Oliver Nice to from you again. I remember meeting you (and the dog!) at Car Mawr. You very kindly let me borrow all your manuals to copy - all of which will be going with the van when she is sold. Regards Elfyn
