DAGENHAM TOWN SHOW PARADE and CLASSIC VEHICLE SHOW CENTRAL PARK, RAINHAM ROAD NORTH, DAGENHAM, ESSEX, RM10 7EJ. 16th and 17th JULY 2011
The Dagenham Town Show is an unforgettable event with entertainment and attractions for all the family. This traditional event has been running since 1952, and is part of the borough's history and identity.
The event has never had a classic vehicle display, despite Dagenham being the Motor City for Essex. The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham have asked Motordata to provide one for 2011, and hopefully for many years to come.
There will be a two day vehicle display at Central Park Dagenham open to pre-1980 vehicles. There is a host of entertainment for all the family including the craft and trade village, funfair, rides, competitions and exhibitions from the Council and voluntary sector.
The show boasts concert stages featuring named artists, up and coming acts, tribute bands and local performers. On the Saturday The Carnival Parade leaves Old Dagenham Park at 1.30pm to arrive in the Central Park arena at 3pm. Classic Cars are invited to join in this important local event. The Parade is at walking pace and so there will be plenty of “escape routes” for classics that might suffer from over heating. Classic Caravans can stay overnight on the Saturday Thanks to generous sponsorship from local businesses this event including admission, trophies, plaques is free to all pre-entered classic vehicles.
All vehicles must be pre-booked, email Motordata@aol.com or call 01702 520220 for an application form

To avoid any misunderstandings, I should make it clear that this event is organised by my own company, Motordata Events.

Wow, that seems great. I am sure it was a successful car show. I am a freelancer providing vehicle wraps and custom display panel services and recently I also took part in the local trade expo. I had shown some of my works and truly it turned out to be a great show for me. Got many clients from there.

Great thread resurrection here. Six years of total silence! For you interest the show was a disaster, the cars were tucked away from the main field so the visitors didn't see them. I did not repeat the event.
